Role – Business Development Manager
Salary – Starting at £35,000, plus quarterly and annual bonus’

Richard Abson Group are helping a reputable and successful business in finding them a Business Development Manager based in the South-East of the UK.

As Business Development Manager, you will lead and implement the business’ sales strategy within a designated area to further establish the business’ brand position in the automotive industry – with the objective of being the no.1 provider of their products, to ensure the customer/consumer experience is exceptional.

You will liaise, advise, and report to the National Sales Manager on all sales related matter within the area of responsibility. To exceed all total company and personal targets, related to financial targets and related KPI’s set by the company.

The area we are recruiting for will cover the south of London, from the Kent Coast and as far west as Worthing.

Essential knowledge and experience to be considered for the role of Business Development Manager:
- Account management experience with a product or service provider to the UK automotive sector
- Large account management and sales experience with large franchised retailer groups
- Confident and customer focused with an instinct for building relations visa telephone/video calls and meetings, rather than just email
- IT literate including Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM
- Clear understanding of the company and departmental goals
- Full understanding of the product range, performance, systems, procedures and relevance to export partners
- Knowledge of automotive and leisure sector structure and the key contacts within them
In depth knowledge of the marketplace and competitors

Salary:
The basic salary ranges from £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, plus a quarterly bonus of £1,000, and annually £4,000  - totaling £8,000
As well as an additional Stretch Target Bonus – 0.5%-1.5% of sales turnover based on over target performance between 10%->30%.

Working hours:
For most of the week, you will work remotely. However, you may be required to carry out meetings at various dealerships in your responsible area.
